Who says pumpkins are for fall? For me, pumpkin treats are my favorites. Pumpkin cake, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin french toast, pumpkin scones ugh I love them all at any time. It’s all year round treat for me. I made this pumpkin scones the other day, so I can relax with tea, pumpkin scones, and Netflix you know.
Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin spices
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
3 tsp milk
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
for glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp milk
for pumpkin glaze
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp pumpkin puree
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp milk
Mix dry ingredients together and add wet ingredients to the mixture. Mix them all together until all of them are well combined.
Line a parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Spread the mixture into a square shape and cut into eight triangles, about 1/2 to 1 inch thick.
Bake 425 degrees for 13-15 min.
To make the glaze whisk all the ingredients together. If the glaze is too thick, add more milk.
After cooling the scones spread the glaze on the top and drizzle the pumpkin glaze on the top.
