It is the last day we stayed in Paris. there isn’t enough time to see everything I planned for. The truth is you need at least 7 days to fully explore this magical city. In the last day, we went to Montmartre. We took the metro from our hotel to the Abbesses station and stepped out right into the heart of Montmartre. Montmartre is the highest point in the city, so we have to make our way up climbing many steps.
Montmartre is a must see place in Paris. it has everything cobbler stone roads, art, restaurants, desserts, vineyards, bars, clubs and so on.. It’s a great stroll through the streets and one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris. I found Montmartre to be one of the most beautiful and lively areas of Paris.
Sacre Coeur Basilica was the first place we visit. You will be able to see the view of Paris from the outside. But to get in the basilica there was a crazy long line. I cannot imagine how many hours it will take us to get in. So I decided to just look around and not to go in. I don’t know it was the right decision, but if we go in I’m pretty sure it will take at least 2 hours.
There are so many pretty cobbled streets to get lost. Ivy covered homes, cute cafes so much to see.
That ends our dreamy vacation to Paris. If you want to see the other posts about Paris, you can find them below.
